In September 1984, the CCSWA became owner and operator of the Lanchester Landfill, a 600-acre property located in Honey Brook, Salisbury, and Caernarvon townships that includes 160 acres of landfills.
The Lanchester Disc Golf Course is a shaded, 9-hole course set in mature woodland on the grounds of an active landfill. Towering hardwoods and a fern-covered forest floor create a scenic, technical challenge for all skill levels. The course shares space with the Lanchester Nature Trail, offering benches and quiet trail segments between holes. Highlights include a 550-foot downhill drive, a suspended basket, and multiple Pro/Amateur tee options. 🛑 Note: The site is home to an active landfill. Players must yield to landfill staff and authorized vehicles at all times. Bug spray and sunscreen recommended.
